LA here we come!   We stop at the NV / CA border to ride the huge Desperado coaster at Buffalo Bill's Casino.  This coaster is still as great as we remember from previous trips.

 
On the way to Vegas we check out the "worlds tallest thermometer."  It reads 110 degrees. Can it get any hotter?

 
The LA skyline comes into view.  Next stop is Six Flags Magic Mountain.  We hope to ride 10 coasters in this park then head to our hotel in Anaheim for more needed sleep.  We'll hit Knott's Berry Farm for coasters in the morning and then make our way up the Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Cruz.
