I hope to work on the site a bit this year to fix broken links and perhaps give it a face-lift in order to learn more about some of the new web technology. We'll see if I can really get motivated. 10/23/99 WELCOME
TO COASTER 2000! |
Welcome to
our website! We
initially created this site to document our summer coaster road trip
that we dubbed Eastcoaster ‘99. We traveled to six states
over seven days and rode 44 coasters in 11 parks. We uploaded pictures and
info as we traveled and assembled the page that you can now find on
our site.
The site has progressed into what you see now -- a
rollercoaster destination that will offer news, rumors, links,
ratings, photos, multimedia and a look into the future of
rollercoasters.
Construction on the site should be complete by
mid-November.
Next summer
we are preparing a trip that we are calling “Coast2Coaster
2000” that will zigzag us across the country while we will
attempt to ride 100 coasters!
Not only will we hit most of the major new coasters, we plan
to document the trip with daily updates, chat sessions, photos and
even video! Stay tuned
for more details. |
